Founded by Giuseppe Chionetti in 1912, the winery has been run for more than 50 years by historic owner Quinto. Today, the fifth generation of the Chionetti family continues the winemaking tradition with the same dedication to quality and terroir.
Located in Dogliani, in the heart of the Langhe, the winery manages 16 hectares of vineyards according to organic farming principles and produces about 85,000 bottles a year.
In the winery, winemaking processes rely on indigenous yeasts, avoiding filtration and artificial stabilization, with the aim of enhancing the peculiarities of the terroir and the vintage.
The Chionetti winery is recognized as a reference for the quality of Dolcetto, thanks to iconic labels such as Dogliani “Briccolero,” and “San Luigi,” flanked by Langhe Nebbiolo “La Chiusa,” Barbera d’Alba “Vigna San Sebastiano,” and three crus of Barolo d.o.c.g. sourced from the communes of La Morra, Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d’Alba.
