Our organic farm is located in the Ionian hills of Reggio, along the Jasmine Riviera, at an average altitude of 100 meters above sea level in the municipality of Siderno in the province of Reggio Calabria.
The company is run with dedication by the owner, Mr. Domenico Barranca, and his family members, and carries out the entire production chain internally, including the cultivation and cold milling of olives inside the company’s olive press.
Freshly produced extra virgin olive oil is stored in special temperature-controlled rooms inside stainless steel containers protected from light and air until bottling.
The organic extra virgin olive oil monocultivar Carolea “La Badessa” comes exclusively from the milling of selected olives of the Carolea variety (typical and elegant variety of Calabria) grown on the farm. Our Carolea monocultivar “La Badessa”, thanks to its qualities, has received several awards of both national and international relevance over the years.
